We are lucky enough to be based in the heart of Shropshire, arguably the UK's greatest food County, so we have a wide choice of local producers, many of whi ch drink and dine in our pub, after a hard days work, tending to their farms, and livestock.
Most of our food is freshly prepared with local produce. We have an extensive menu to cater for all tastes which is changed regularly. Our light meals including salads, sandwiches, and our jackets potatoes, through to our more extensive meals including great steaks, fish, and our 'famous' large Yorkshire pudding with daily fillings.
Our daily Specials Board offers a wide variety of dishes and a selection of Vegetarian Meals. We also offer a choice of desserts and a varied Wine List.
Sundays are a popular day at the Talbot. We offer our roast selection as well as choice of starts, mains and puddings.
