The Talbot Inn, set in historic Much Wenlock home to the creator of the modern Day Olympics movement, the late William Penny Brookes, and is Much Wenlock's most famous son, whose original home is just a few doors away. The Talbot Inn offers traditional warm, and very welcoming hospitality to locals, regulars, and wiery travellers, which it has done since 1360!
Offering local real ales, extensive wines, bar snacks, pub meals and a full restaurant menu, we look forward to catering for whatever your needs may be. Our 7 bedrooms, located in the courtyard, which was once the site of the Much Wenlock brewery, offer much needed accommodation in Much Wenlock. Our bedrooms are available from £37.50 per person.
